Birkelygaard, originally built in 1676, is situated in the idyllic village of Faldsled on South Funen, with views of the Helnæs Bay and the beautiful South Funen landscape. We warmly welcome you – with cosy rooms and peaceful surroundings that provide the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday or an inspiring course stay.
Meet the owners
Birkelygaard is run by Trine and Martin Sand, who took over the charming farm in Faldsled in March 2026. Trine and Martin also run the Systemic Institute for Family Therapy (SIF), one of Denmark's oldest and most established psychotherapeutic training institutions. They wish to create a vibrant house that welcomes private guests, businesses and locals alike.
